Meet the new CodeNeter

Desktop · 1.0.0

Introducing CodeNeter Desktop 1.0. Work with the agent in a dedicated app, with your project files, terminal and browser beside the conversation. Go from describing a change to trying it in the browser and reviewing the diff without leaving your workspace.

Work with the agent

Describe a feature, a bug or a question about the code. The agent searches your project, edits files and runs commands, with its progress shown in the conversation. Use @ to mention files or folders when you already know which code matters.

Pick a model, or bring Codex

Each conversation keeps its own model. Choose one from the model picker or let Auto choose, and adjust thinking, effort or context where a model offers them. Connect your OpenAI account to use GPT models with the Codex allowance from your ChatGPT plan, at no additional CodeNeter cost.

Built-in browser

Preview your app beside the conversation and point to an element to give the agent page context. The agent can interact with the page, take screenshots and read console errors to investigate bugs and check its work. Responsive previews let you inspect layouts at different screen sizes.

Files, terminal and branches

Browse and edit project files, jump to any file with Quick Open, and run your own commands in the integrated terminal. Switch branches from the workspace menu, or start a new conversation in its own Git worktree, on a new branch made from one you choose.

Review the changes

The Changes tab lists every uncommitted change in the project, including your own edits. Read each diff, stage files and commit without leaving the app.

Make it work your way

Save prompts you use often as commands and pick them from the / menu. Rules give the agent instructions for every conversation, and skills hold detailed instructions it reads only when a task needs them. MCP servers add tools such as an issue tracker or a database. You manage all of them in Settings.
